چکیده

Depicting the spatiotemporal dynamics of vegetation cover in Yellow River Basin (YRB) and delineating influences climate change human activities on have been significant importance for understanding surface earth systems general also formulating ecological protection plans YRB particular. This study uses GIMMS NDVI dataset from 1982 to 2015 MOD13A1 2000 2021 explore spatial temporal characteristics period with an attempt reveal influencing factors. The distribution variation are analyzed by maximum value composite, Theil-Sen median trend analysis, Mann–Kendall test. Combined mean annual temperature precipitation same period, factors discussed using binary linear regression analysis residual analysis. Results show that: (1) multi-year average values increase northwest southeast that covers fluctuate relatively greatly along increasing a growth rate 0.019/(10a). Understandably, monthly single-peak pattern, August being peak time (0.4936). (2) 77.35% studied areas characterized exhibiting during (i.e., 1982–2021). (3) Vegetation is affected combined effects activities, more observed amelioration cover.

Evaluation of Spatiotemporal Variations of Global Fractional Vegetation Cover Based on GIMMS NDVI Data from 1982 to 2011

Fractional vegetation cover (FVC) is an important biophysical parameter of terrestrial ecosystems. Variation of FVC is a major problem in research fields related to remote sensing applications. In this study, the global FVC from 1982 to 2011 was estimated by GIMMS NDVI data, USGS global land cover characteristics data and HWSD soil type data with a modified dimidiate pixel model, which consider...

critical period effects in foreign language learning:the influence of maturational state on the acquisition of reading, writing, and grammar in english as a foreign language

since the 1960s the age effects on learning both first and second language have been explored by many linguists and applied linguists (e.g lennerberg, 1967; schachter, 1996; long, 1990) and the existence of critical period for language acquisition was found to be a common ground of all these studies. in spite of some common findings, some issues about the impacts of age on acquiring a second or...
